While we make an initial assessment of your homes' foundation issues upon our visit, sometimes a more detailed report is needed or even required. Cornerstone Foundation can also assist you in obtaining an independent Engineer's Report.
STRUCTURAL ENGINEER REPORT-
The purpose of an engineer's report is to validate the structural integrity of a building by an individual licensed by the state to provide detailed and exacting reporting. So some people ask: What is the difference between a Home Inspector Report and a Structural Engineer? The primary difference is the credentials. A Home Inspector is not required by Texas law to be certified in the various fields they measure for a home. On the other hand, a Structural Engineer is governed by the Engineer Board of Texas to supply highly accurate information about a home's structure. The report they produce is an official document that is honored by a lender as to the structural soundness of a property. Many North Texas cities require an Engineers Report prior to any foundation work being performed.
Upon request, we offer you contacts to obtain an Independent certified Structural Engineer Report.

Through our network, CornerStone Foundation offers independent Structural Engineer Reports, the cost of which can be applied towards your foundation repair project, should you find you need work done.
